Owned by the same couple behind Buvette, I Sodi, and Via Carota, you know this place will be good. Your search for the perfect aperol spritz ends here. Served chilled, on the rocks or with soda. Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Honjozo is 410 for a 5 oz glass. I know I was hungry, but probably the best beef bowl Ive had in the states. Decibel presents Outdoor Sake Week Featuring Hakkaian sake Brewery. Speaking of cocktails, the Lychee cocktail is a standout choice that shouldn't be missed. Gooooooooooooooooooooodness their beef bowl just screams of Japan. The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, with traditional Japanese decor and a knowledgeable staff who can guide you through the menu of sake and cocktails. Located through a panel of plastic strip curtains that are typically found guarding walk-in freezer entrances and down a flight of fluorescent-lit, fun-house vibe stairs, lies a dark, wood-paneled space lined with green booths and a canvas ceiling that mimics stained glass. If you're a fan of Japanese culture and enjoy a good cocktail, this sake bar is a must-visit.

Cocktails like the Bulleit Train (Bulleit bourbon, sesame, matcha, cacao nib, ginger honey, oloroso) are on their menu, along with light bites like a pork katsu sandwich.
#Sake bar decibel professional
Combining molecular gastronomy and art, Straylight crafts exquisite cocktails in an art-filled space. Sake Bar Decibel, as it’s officially known, was a last stand of sorts before the East Village went the way of Whole Foodsand just as important, it was the place where many of the city’s professional eaters and drinkers learned about sake. Located underneath the multi-level omakase restaurant Juku, Straylight is one of my favorite speakeasies in the city.
